WEEKS 4 (LINING AND LIMING,SEED GERMINATION)

This week, we have done several tasks namely lining and liming and seed germination.

This lining and liming process makes it easier for us to raise the limit and soften the soil.In addition, we use some tools and a tractor.

LIMING PROCESS

After we were all done with the land clearing and plowing process, we continued the liming process. For information, the liming process is to neutralize the soil because if the soil is acidic it will cause our plants not to grow normally. The suitable pH for soil is between 5.5-6.5.

This process can soften the soil for cultivation.

This process is very important to ensure that the plot is measured with the proper area.

LINING PROCESS

This process is very important to ensure that the plot is measured with the proper area. This lining process is the process of dividing the area for crop boundary, drains and mainroads. We use a measuring tape to carry out the correct measurement process.

After using the tape measure, we used raffia tape and sticks to mark the area.In addition, we have sketched the limits and widths of each class.

SEED GERMINATION

In this project, there are 4 seeds which are supplied by PE.Among them, pak choi seeds, long bean seeds, lettuce seeds and cucumber seeds.

                                                              SALAD SEEDS

                                                         LONG BEAN SEEDS

                                                                 PAK CHOI SEEDS

                                                                CUCUMBER SEEDS

We have done this process earlier in order to avoid damaged seeds. After that, we mix it with nursery fertilizer so that the seeds grow fresh and mature.

After making the process, we send the seeds to the UITM JASIN green house.

We send the seeds to the green house because they can be well cared for and safe without the interference of pests.

THAT'S ALL FOR ME.WAIT AND SEE THE NEXT WEEKS.
