FPA LOGBOOK WEEKS 8 WEEKS 8 ( WEEDING MANAGEMENT AND PREPARATION FOR STAKE) 19 MAY 2023 ACTIVITIES After 2 weeks of transplanting,we have found that there are weeds growing. There is a lot of grass growing. We will pull out the weed by hand . If we don't remove the weed, it will affect our plants. Among the effects of weed growth disrupts plant growth because it competes with plants in terms of food sources, growing space, competition for sunlight and worst of all because it can also become a host to pathogens that cause pest attacks and diseases. After than that, we're doing the stake preparation for the long bean by using the tree branch that we get from the tree around us .The height of the stake is about 2meters. It may support the plant when it growing soon. CHALLENGES the challenge I face is when pulling out a lot of weeds. The second challenge situation is when digging the ground to prepare stakes. TOOLS -hoe - 8 pcs machete. - Rafia rope -watering can cost -rafia rope
